At eMarketing Concepts, we believe in your right to privacy and data protection. We have created this privacy statement in conjunction with the eMarketing Concepts Web Privacy and Data Protection Policy with your needs in mind. We do not collect any Personally Identifiable Information (PII), unless specifically needed to provide you with the information and/or service that you are seeking. When collecting PII, we only use the information collected as required to provide the information/service that you requested.


We do collect limited information anonymously, such as your IP address, browser configuration, etc., your activity on the website, and the date/time of this event. We may set and access our cookies on your system in order to customize the delivery of our services to your preferences and for the purposes of tracking the effectiveness of our services.


We may, on occasion, ask you for additional information so that we may contact you for follow up on specific inquiries. The site also collects data through a feedback form that allows users to request information about eMarketing Concepts and its products and services. Personal information provided by the user may also be collected for the purposes of internal marketing research, user trend studies and sitewide improvements. Periodically, the eMarketing Concepts team will collect non-personally identifiable information from people who visit the site. We do this by using cookies – a small piece of data that our site sends to a person’s computer where it is stored. For example, eMarketing Concepts might use a cookie to identify a person interested in an particular industry and the next time that person visits the site the previously viewed industry will automatically populate the screen. eMarketing Concepts will periodically use beacons or spotlight tags in their Web page and newsletters to gather metrics in their aggregate form. A beacon is usually an electronic image called a clear GIF or a 1×1 GIF. These files look for specific non-personally identifiable information on a person’s computer. This information includes browser information, cookie number, page views and any other basic data that we can use to improve messaging and usability on eMarketing Concepts does not allow for third-party ads on our website but we do occasionally contract with advertising companies that place ads on behalf of eMarketing Concepts. The advertising company may use beacons for campaign success measurements. Beacons used by eMarketing Concepts collect data that is anonymous, is not linked to personally identifiable information, nor attached to any databases. Individuals can prevent the use of beacon and/or cookies by disabling them in the security settings of the Internet browsers.

We do not intentionally invite data from Juniors (under the age of 13) to this site, but where we are aware of such submissions for educational purposes, we will treat such data as ‘Sensitive Data’. Data known to be from Juniors and which is not specifically submitted for educational purposes will be immediately deleted.

Users may be invited (by pop-up screen) to participate in a site survey carried out by an independent organization. You may opt-out of participation at the time the survey is offered. The survey collects generalized statistics only. No personal data is held as a result of the site survey, unless you opt to provide specific comments. In this case your comments and address information will be passed directly to eMarketing Concepts and subject to the same provisions and safeguards as provided for information collected on the eMarketing Concepts web site.
